NACME National Symposium

The NACME National Symposium is a biennial conference of public and private sector leaders focusing on diversity in engineering education and the workforce, and issues affecting the representation of African American, Latino, and American Indian women and men in engineering and math- and science-related careers. Sponsors of this unique event enjoy a host of benefits, structured at multiple levels. The next Symposium will be in September 2011.

NACME Awards Dinner & Celebration

The NACME Awards Dinner & Celebration is a black-tie gala attended by 530 guests from corporations, universities and other organizations from around the nation. The 2009 dinner raised more than $8 million in cash from corporation and individual sponsorships, partners and in-kind support from institutions providing scholarships to students over the next four years. All net proceeds from the event provide additional scholarships for underrepresented minority engineering students. The next dinner will be in September 2012.
