CHANGING LIVES, CHANGING AMERICA
The NACME team is still glowing from our recent celebration of our 35- year legacy of leadership and service to underrepresented minorities pursuing degrees in engineering.
Hosted at the Waldorf on Tuesday, September 29, the NACME 35th Anniversary Awards Dinner & Celebration exceeded our fundraising goals by over a $1 million! We raised more than $8 million in cash and in-kind support to provide scholarships to students at more than 50 colleges and universities over the next four years.
With more than 500 guests, the dinner also boasted leaders in academia, government, universities, foundations, and other organizations from across the country. This year’s theme, Changing Lives, Changing America, speaks to NACME’s dual role of changing lives through its involvement in K-12 and higher education, and its ability to change America through its leadership and policy advocacy to produce a graduating engineering class that looks like America.
Thank you to all our funders, partners, and supporters who helped us change lives and change America!
