At-Large Scholars Program
NACME recently introduced its newest scholarship program – At-Large Scholars program. The At-Large Scholars program offers scholarship support to rising second-, third-, and fourth-year underrepresented minority students pursuing engineering degrees at non-partner universities.
This competitive award is based on the following four criteria:
- academic achievement
- financial need
- record of community/civic/social involvement
- evidence of leadership skills
Each year, NACME awards At-Large scholarships to 10–15 full-time African American, American Indian, and Latino students enrolled in engineering or engineering-related programs at ABET-accredited institutions.
Based on cumulative college GPA, each At-Large Scholar receives up to $4,000 per year for a maximum of three years, as follows:
